Yeh well I recently got 3 new monitors

2 are currently plugged in and at random times my screen freezes, goes black and i get the Display Driver Stopped responding and has recovered message.

Yet, prior to me connecting the monitors this never happend once?

Any ideas why its suddenly happening now that eyefinity is enabled?

The 2D clock speeds should be higher with more than 1 monitor connected.

Can you look what the 2D clock speed is with 1 monitor connected and then with 2?

You can find the speed in the Catalyst Control Centre (Performance tab and then AMD Overdrive).

Both, nothing changes on performance tab when I disconnect one monitor.

(Both as in with 1 monitor, and with 2 monitors, not both as in 2) :P

So the clocks are increased with 2 monitors connected.

Whether or not they're the right speeds though I couldn't tell you.

Do you have the latest drivers installed?

You have both 6 pin power connectors securely fitted to the card?

Yep bother 6 pin connectors are fitted properly and I have the latest drivers as of last night.

It hasn't changed Clock speed from 100Mhz / Memory clock from 150Mhz since I only have 1 monitor on and hasn't frozen.

I'll try connecting the other monitor again and see if its changes in clock speed thats causing crashes?

It should increase the clock speeds with 2 monitors as a bit more grunt is needed to run 2.

Perhaps it's just not increasing them enough.

Try shutting down the PC, plugging in the 2nd monitor and then restarting.

Ever since I enabled Overdrive it's not crashed

(weird as overdrive is set too 900Mhz and 1050Mhz, even though thats the default settings :S )

Ok I put the third monitor in today and it's started back

Crashed 3 times in the last hour

Display driver amdkmdap stopped responding and has successfully recovered.

Now on my right monitor when I say move my browser theres a line that goes straight across the screen, like If i move the browser top of it moves then bottom is 2mm behind it

Any ideas? (also display drivers still randomly crash)

Edit: should also add, the area isn't specific, i.e. one minute i move the 1cm from top of screen will do it, then next minute its 4cm down etc, goes to bottom, then back to top etc.
