Display issue

I doubt replacing the monitor with a another unit will cure the issue.

It needs sorting in the Intel HD GUI by the looks.

If I remember correctly I had a similar issue some time ago that I rectified by doing a fresh install in order to recover the original Intel HD graphics settings.

Have you hooked up the camping tv and the original monitor together and run a system restore to a time before the issue began?
 
Or get the display up with both monitors connected and see if you can delete and re-install the Intel Graphics program?
