Thought i would try my xbox 360 on my HDTV via VGA in on the TV.
The PC works fine so the TV's VGA port is fine.

when the Xbox360 is connected with my "Joytect xbox360 VGA" cable i get a message saying "display not supported" and i get a blue screen (my tv's standard for no picture) but i do get the boot up sound of the xbox360.

the Joytec VGA cable is fine because it works on my Monitor via VGA.
also the xbox360 works fine Via component on my TV (Samsung R74 26").

PS- the vga cable doesnt have HD/TV switch thats just for component ;)

IT's no big deal as i use component but wanted to see if VGA was any better.

any ideas soldiers? :D

You've probably left it set at the wrong resolution on your monitor, as in say you leave it at 1280x1024 on your PC monitor. You then take it to your HDTV, and stick it in, and it's trying to display 1280x1024 still and the TV only supports 1280x720 for example. Stick it on 1024x768 on your monitor, then try it on the HDTV and set it to the resolution best for your HDTV that the HDTV supports.
