Display output on boot

Hi guys.

Im in need of some help.

My pc has just developed this fault in the last few days. Whenever I start the system from a previous shutdown the desktop resizes itself into the top quarter of my 27" monitor.

The only way to get it back displaying properly on the whole of the screen is to remove and re insert the display port cable to the gpu. ( RTX 3070 )

Any ideas what could be causing this to happen? Once i've done the removal piece the display and pc work as intended its just frustrating having to do it all the time.

Can you try a different cable, same type or hdmi maybe. My dp port was not reliable but hdmi is more stable.

Ive tried another cable. same effect

Fixed the issue. I had toggled on a setting in geforce experience for screen scaling. Turned it off and all is back to normal
