When booting up my PC my monitor makes a sort of buzzing noise then just goes quiet, it doesn't display anything at all, seeing this I was thinking my monitor is broken however when I borrowed another monitor from a friend it wouldnt work either. I'm starting to think it maybe a problem with the graphics card however I've taken the graphics card out and had a look at it, seems to be no damage to the PC and everything seems to be working fine but obviously isnt. Any suggestions or opinions on what you reckon the problem is would be much appreciated.

Usual procedure applies I guess, take everything out and boot it with minimal hardware in, and if it works, add stuff back one by one. If it doesn't work you've narrowed down the choices.

If you don't get anything at all it may well be the card. do you have another gfx card to test it with?
