displayport to hdmi

i am going to be using an NVIDIA Quadro k600 for 4k video in a media centre.
i need to go display port to hdmi do i need a fancy adaptor or can u use a £6 ebay displayport to hdmi cable.

i need audio over the cable if that matters


i have seen a few people saying there using the k600 for 4k output so i thought i would give the £15... GPU a go.
