Dissertation quick survey, only 9 yes/no questions

I said no I don't play regularly so couldn't answer last question but I would play it every now and then if it was free and no money changed hands :)
 
Done, wouldn't let me put in 0.99 for price.

Any game should be 0.69-0.99 and slot machines are pointless unless it's proper gambaling.

Thanks for the screenshot of that fruit machine app, it looks good actually and perhaps there are a lot of things I could learn from it for my app. The app i've made is up on the store for free beta here:

It's free and I don't stand to make any money from the beta. Hopefully eventually there will be a free version and a paid version, but before then it has a long way to go. Currently it only supports "medium - large" screens, which sadly exludes tablets ( They're classed in the Android SDK as Extra-Large ). The reason is because the graphics aren't large enough for the extra large screens so requires some more work making those.
There will be bugs, I already have a list of 4 or 5 which are due for fixing. I'm updating this almost every day and so bug reports are massively helpful ( That's why it's in beta ). It went to beta a little earlier than I wanted to as it's on a deadline for my dissertation, but it's safe and should work fine. If you can email any bugs to [email protected] tha twould be fantastic. I really hope you enjoy it.

the devices it will look best on are the likes of the Desire series, the Sensation series, it looks pretty neat on the One X, those kind of sizes. It will support "small" phones soon, such as the HTC Hero ( Actually, I think it *should* look ok on that already ), but it will take a little longer for tablets.

As far as the rating goes etc, this isn't the final app, it's just a free beta to iron out bugs early before the release of the full app, so please don't rate it down if you find bugs or leave bug reports in the ratings ( although.. to be fair anywhere is good, i'll see them ), but they're best being reported properly as I can't respond to comments on the market.

For anyone who is particularly helpful in reporting lots of bugs etc of course i'll be happy to put your name in the beta tester credits ( In settings->About ) if you wish, and find a way to distribute the app to you for free when it is finally released.

Oh and of course not just bugs... anything you notice that you see and think would be better if it was changed. I think there is some flaws with the logic on how the trail works at the moment, particularly with holds/nudges... that'll be fixed soon.
In one of the next few updates, the button which says "Gamble" is likely to be changed as it has no real use currently, that's going to become "Information" with help... or... there is a chance I put it up in the top right with a ? mark like on the feature board which has a help option, and will make that gamble button actually useful some time soon ( feedback on what you think is best here is great too ).

This is one of my first ever apps ( I made two really super super simple ones before ),.. so please be nice :).

Just to let you know, i'm working on the superfeature bug just reported, and the issue of the display showing the wrong value when betting more than 1.
