Distance buying

If the vehicle isn't as described then of course you should have every right to reject it.
However what these regulations are allowing you to do is:

Order top of the range vehicle.
Specify all of the upgrades possible

Now reject the vehicle because "I don't really fancy it after all".

Not really fair on the dealers.

Im going to speak to someone tomorrow i couldnt get hold of today and ask about this with reference new cars, because there must be a failsafe for dealers or they would simply just not do it, i know i wouldnt.

Take someones 50k and then pray mrs Jones really does like that shade of blue or end up with an asset worth 40k 24 hours later, yea right. You'd be ****ing skint in 3 months, i know everyone on here loves to **** a car dealer but for every ****er selling cars there are 1500 ****ers buying them.

They should bring a few new TV shows out "customers from hell" , "cowboy customers" , "the menace that is the public" :)

The failsafe is they can refuse to take telephone orders. The rules only apply to distance sales.
