As well as Exit Ten my copy of Disturbed's new cd turned up earlier in the week and I'm pretty impressed. Has some very good tracks on it such as Divide and Perfect Insanity and can't wait to see them play live again.

its alright nothing to shout about though, i prefer 10,000 fists and tbh there's no beating the sickness. now what an album that was!

So it's still bland, unimaginative, lacking any originality or creativity and still contains rubbish vocals from that **** Draimen? Does it still have a thousand riffs taken from every Pantera or Metallica song you can think of but only a more watered down, radio friendly fashion? Is the drummer still crap and the guitarist baffingly incompetent?

Because it certainly sounds that way to me.

How to write a Disturbed song, by Sic.

1. Play around with your delay pedal and feedback until you get a suitably creepy sound. Play for around 20 seconds.
2. Come up with a short, chantable phrase - preferably something monosyllabic. Even better if it's a well-known saying.
3. Steal a Metallica riff. Get an idiot to play it.
4. Beat your drummer half to death.
5. Don't ever fade a song out. Just stop playing, all at the same time.
6. ?????
7. Sell albums.

This video contains very sensitive and mature content

In the youtube comments:

"omg i love his evil laugh, i can't get enough.......not in a gay way though"

LOL

Their lead singer might actually be the biggest douchebag in music, other than Bono.

Every interview Draimen does he comes across as an pompous arrogant ****. What kind of nub does a cover of a classic like Land of Confusion and then when asked does he hope Genesis appreciate their version, he says he couldnt care less if they do or dont and thinks their version is a million times better!:eek::mad: Utter nob head tbh.

lmao. But to be fair their version is better.

Seen them live at Rock Am Ring in Germany and at the Metalhammer awards, they are absolutely fantastic live, in my personal opinion

They are, it seems everyone jumps on the bandwagon once sometimes does some hilarious mocking of the band. Totally unjust really considering the other bands out there at the moment...but hey, they must be doing something right.

I think there a brilliant band, very good powerful music.

Bought the album this morning and some great songs but not there best in all fairness.

I rate the album behind the sickness but better than 10,000 Fists and a fair bit better than Believe (which has not aged well at all)
