postponing the same tour twice, now that just sucks :(

DISTURBED have postponed their previously announced spring 2006 European headlining tour, according to various online ticketing agencies and press reports. The trek, which was scheduled to kick off in early March (with NEVERMORE in the support slot), was reportedly called off in order to allow singer David Draiman to rest his voice after several months of intensive touring in the U.S. in support of the band's platinum-selling new CD, "Ten Thousand Fists".

Back in October 2005, DISTURBED cancelled the last seven shows of their European tour because Draiman was suffering from severe acid reflux. When he got back to Los Angeles, Draiman immediately underwent an endoscopy to make sure the surgical work that had been done in the past for his uncooperative stomach hadn't come undone, MTV.com reported last November.

DISTURBED, who are slated to stay on the road in the U.S. through February 24 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, have rescheduled their European tour for September. It is not presently clear if NEVERMORE will still occupy the opening slot on the new dates.

i saw them at ozzfest 2000 and supporting marilyn manson and they were bloody terrible. the frontman was a complete ****

i saw them at ozzfest 2001, and they were good
i've since seen them twice at real gigs and they were fantastic

good for you, there are lots of bands i dont like, but i dont feel the need to post in threads about them saying so, I only posted this as information for the people who've bought tickets as i know there are a few from the gigs thread

Disturbed are terrible full stop. And yes, their front man is an idiot. Why does he feel the need to lead into songs making stupid noises?

If U have nothing constructive to say, or are just trying to get flamed in an obvious disturbed thread, just say nothing please

seeing this awesome band TWICE in october.

i too was gutted about the postponement.

PS am a disturbed ones member :)

Or, how about I'll voice my opinion anywhere I damn well like mate, cheers. And you'll note that I posted that comment nearly two months ago and you're the first one to take offence (or disagree ;)).

Go figure.

Why do people drag these old threads up? Nothing better to do or something?

Dude, the thread died out and people finished talking about it in February.

Opinions are fine, but it comes to a point where the thread is so old theres no need for it to be bumped back up to the top, unless there is something vital to say, such as an important update. Which your post wasn't, in the slightest.

i thought it was an a-hole approach to take, but couldnt be bothered arguing it again

wooh yeah you can say whatever you want, but posting in a thread about a band you dont like, simply to say you dont like them is simply flaming

Why is that any different to posting in a thread to say you do like them? Either way it's just a list of people saying they do or don't like something or other.
