Ditching PS4 and moving to XBO

Just keep both consoles, theres bound to be a game coming out next year that you'll want to play and if its on the console you sold then its a pointless exercise as you'll most likely buy the console again anyway.

Ive got both and my XB1 is a dust collector atm, it hasnt been used in months whereas the PS4 is used almost daily.

Please don't be a moron.

Nobody cares which is better. Lets not turn this into a console war.

Some people obviously do, which is why im responding to a claim that x is better than y, im giving my reasons why I disagree, this is a forum afterall.

Why do you care? Havent you got some bad comments about Destiny to be vehemently responding to?

Oh yea, I forgot to add... PS4 also takes 3 minutes to send a basic message :D

Might as well close this thread, it's all downhill from here :p

It's turned into a current state of the market thread so....:D

I think Microsoft have done very well in the 2nd half of the year. Turned round what seemed an impossible situation a year ago and made what was/could have been a turd of a console a worthwhile piece of kit.

Sony have also had a great year and have not had to make any price cuts or monthly OS updates. Complacency is what they really need to guard against though. They need to remain competitive and perhaps review the price point of the PS4 as the X1 certainly had a great Black Friday/Cyber Monday.

Next year looks amazing and I'm not sure anybody can afford to not have both consoles*

*nobody cares about the Wii U.....;)

180,000 consoles receipts. Over Black Friday sale. A single day.

That's 60% of 180,000 consoles.

Not 60% of food shopping receipts.

Got a link to confirm that?

I have this - http://blog.infoscout.co/gaming-consoles-black-friday/
Data methodology:
InfoScout panelists submitted 180k+ receipts over the course of Black Friday. Of the 180k receipts submitted, 2k receipts included a games-related purchase. The data includes purchases at all major brick & mortar retailers carrying electronics including Walmart, Target, Best Buy, GameStop, RadioShack, and others. For more information related to our data and panel representation, visit our data page.
Check your sources ;). Don't use IGN

ps3ud0

i must be one of the few who have both and love both :D if for some bizarre reason i was told i could only take one id have to take the one and id make that choice based on exclusives and the controller and xbl,but i don't have to make that choice so i can use both and be more than delighted :p

So - forgetting all the arguments/points over should I/shouldn't I, I've been offered the following trade and would appreciate opinions on whether it's a decent deal or not:

My PS4, unboxed, with two controllers (+ replacement rubber sticks), dual charge unit, camera, FIFA15, and AC:unity

For: Boxed Xbox One + Kinect (Day one edition), with single controller, charge kit, and AC:Black Flag

Saves me the hassle of losing money on selling mine and buying new, plus I'll have a ton of games (most of which I don't play) that I can sell on.

Worth it?
