Here, there, everywhere.
Morning guys,

What I'm looking for is a box that fulfils a couple of requirements, and I'm wondering if people have seen anything that does this/can point me in the right direction.

I'm looking for a Hard Disk based Divx/xvid player, that will connect to a wifi network to copy files to the Hard Disk, rather than streamed over the network. A Dvd player in the same package would be preferable, but by no means essential.

I can find lots of Wifi Streamers, and lots of Hard Disk players, but can't seem to find an intersection between the two sets.

If such a thing doesn't exist, could anyone suggest alternatives?

Stick "Pixelmagic" into Google.

They do a HD Media Streaming box that you can slot an IDE Hard drive into to store video files for viewing. It will also Stream via Wi-Fi or Ethernet as well.
Plays all manner of files types such as AVI, WMV, DivX XVID VOBs, .TS files, MP3s etc. Costs around £300 though (not including Hard drive)

They used to sell the KISS machines on here a while back but think they have stopped.

They do a lot of variations and should have something that fits for you.

Ive been looking at the DP-600

The TVIX M5000A gets very good reviews for the range of files it can playback. I am trying to choose between that and the Rhapsody N35. Neither is wireless out of the box though I believe.
