I've just gotten around to doing this in my MBP...
Had a couple of gotchas, and I'm just wondering if anyone else on here has done this to theirs and how it went for them:
Everything else is working fine as is for now, but these little niggles don't seem to be discussed that much from my Google-fu, neither do any solutions.

- Using Lion DiskMaker to make a bootable USB, after finishing installing files from the USB drive and reboots, it is stuck at "Installing..." with an indefinite progress bar displayed. This does not happen if installing to a non-FD volume.
- When holding the Alt/Option key down, the FD volume is listed twice (aka 'Macintosh HD' x2), selected either icon boots up into OS X fine, but the OCD in me makes it irritating. The recovery partition isn't listed either, the icon at least (you are still able to access it via Cmd+R which is fine).
