DJ HERO - Worth it?

Cheeky, I saw programme on a guy who made his money buying rare books that had misspelt titles for pennies, and selling for tens of thousands.

Lucked out I guess, good for you.

Yeah I guess. Well see though, I dont actually have it yet but I'll post up when I do. Seems too good to be true at this stage.

As the seller seems to be making 10-15£ a day selling free e-vouchers via links I'm not feeling too guilty. If they were an average seller I think I would have probably emailed them offering a cancellation. Bit of a weird one morally this. I'm sure some people will feel I'm being unfair.

Wouldn't worry about it tbh, I highly doubt he would do the same if he was in your position, especially considering he is selling free vouchers. Got a link to auction at all?

Disappointed that no new DLC has appeared on the store for a while. Was hoping for more Jay-Z.

FYI this is a Wii version. They retail for the same as the 360 I take it?

The DJ Hero auction, just wanted to see how you got such a bargain. Yea the Wii version looks the same sort of price as 360\PS3.

I know what they are but I thought I'd ask someones opinion about them before spending what I think is a silly amount for a couple of songs. Next time I'll just google and not participate in the forum :/

Yeah, it's a cool game.

I don't play it all the time but it's great when you fancy a break, even got my fiancee playing it.

She doesn't get on with Guitar Hero but she was up for this!

It's a real shame- DLC could really push the game as I think as a concept it's great!

I can understand that creating a DJ Hero track takes much more effort than a Guitar Hero one though.

EDIT* Thought it wouldnt install because it makes a rattling noise instead of the full spin up noise at first but eventually it kicks in

I was browsing through HMV in my lunch break today and I noticed that this is now £49.99 on X360 and PS3. I know this is the magic price for a lot of people to buy the game so I thought I would let everyone know! I'm not sure how long shops have been doing it at this price, but it's the first I've seen it at this price at least. I wasn't planning on getting it anytime soon, but I'm very tempted to go back after work.

yeah, it's finally dropping to a reasonable price

it's a great game, especially to someone who's into rhythm games, cause then you're used to having fun with crappy music in your ears

Yeah I loved Guitar Hero 2 when I got that and numero 3 to a lesser extent. I think the novelty has warn off a bit on those games though as I played them so much! I much prefer dance/electronic music though so I'm looking forward to finally getting stuck in with this.

I was going to get this when it came out but held off because of the price. Then it sort of got lost in the shuffle of new games coming out i wanted to play. But my brother bought it from a friend so i got to have a go, but i just didn't like it, or more to the point, just didn't like the music selection or mixes. The actual gameplay was pretty good though so i went through a good few of the mixes but it just wasn't for me.

I heard they're making a DJH2, so i'm hoping it will be more geared towards the dance/house genre
