DLNA server with GPU Offload

Mornin All

Anyone know of a DLNA server with GPU offload? Would really help my little HP Microserver with transcoding HD media.

Aye it was for you, I always turn to the collective minds of OCUK, however in this respect it seems no one knows, or such a product just doesn't exist!

had a look about aswell - none of them seem to boast it, tis a shame tbh the microserver has been ace so far. shame it falls short on this

Only one I can think of us mythtv on Linux

You can get a gpu transcoder for it.
Althou the transcoding is used for tv repcordings. It might be possible to get it working for the media server

Prolly needs abit of work to get running thou as its not a native feature

Not quite what you're after but the upcoming version of Mezzmo is introducing a pre-transcode feature, allowing you to kick transcodes off in advance.

Thanks for the info guys. A 10m HDMI cable + XBMC was the solution in the end
