It's not like an ISO where you have to burn the image to the disc before it's readable... you can simply put the .dmg on the data disc and it's done.
Double clicking on the .dmg (on the disc) will then mount the dmg as normal

Well, you can just double click the DMG and it will mount as a virtual CD - but if you really want to burn it do this:
Go to Applications - Utilities - Disc Utility,
Open the DMG with said program and Burn.
ISO / DMG burning is built into the OS (And something that MS should pick up on , basic level ISO / DMG burning is brilliant!)

You can burn DMGs just like ISOs. They're basically the same thing.
