DnB thread!

Danny Byrd is utter ****. Hearing General Levy say "supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" made me want to end my life. What happened to the man that made this?

I can't watch the video on my phone for some reason, but if that's from Bath with love, that is one of two good songs he has, the other being Shock Out.

Wilkinson is a much better version of him.

As for old school vibes, this takes some beating :)

how/why? i aint an up to date follower of dnb but as someone who listened to it in 93/94, that doesn't sound oldschool to me, but the one janesy posted is a badass tune and deffo has that sound quite literally with the bass and drum!

Has some old school RAM sounding bits, has a drum break and doesn't sound like a box of robots falling down a set of stairs. More 97-98 than 93-94 :p

What he said, and add to that a very warm room filling bass. Reminded me of DJ SS-Black.

Although I also like robots falling down stairs :p

Did you even listen to it? Or just say no because ukf.

It's a great neurofunk track :) reminds me of a cross between Spor and Xilent.

I did listen to it. It sounds like a 6 year old smashing a bin lid.

Wouldn't suprise me that all the Neurofunk you know is Spor haha.

It's okay though mate, keep playing your sets at Cable with 18 month old tunes :)

Woah there, chill out a bit.

I didn't insult you or anything. And no, Spor is not the only neuro I listen to, even though it's not my preferred subgenre (Jump-Up).

And I was just playing tunes that I love, and it went down great. Besides, I had some tracks that were released just before that set in there, so really, all you've done here is act a bit silly :D

Makes me laugh how people are still segregating all these slighly different styles into specific sub-genres.

Liquid, Techstep, Jump up, Minimal, Neurofunk etc... End of the day it's still all Drum & Bass. People need to get a grip.

I disagree. It's nice to have subgenres for music, else it gets rather confusing.
