Summer '06.

Been out of D'n'B for the past 3 years. Can anyone recommend any decent tunes I can get off Juno? Dunno if some of these are going but stuff off labels like, Spearhead, Charge, Soul:R, Ganja, Shogun etc.

Last I really bought was by some Russian called Mage and he has brought out some nice stuff since his debut 'If I Could' for all the liquid fans on here.

I take it you're after some decent liquid, JamieH?

Check out Sheer Velocity, Fokuz, Celsius, Jazzsticks, Liquid Drumz, Telluric, Soul Deep, Inform Recs just to name a few.

Also, have a look at the recent posts by myself in this thread, should definitely be something that's up your street!

BTW: Fizzik is streaming live on Bassdrive.com right about now - viiiiibes!

Thanks Gee,

Will have to have a listen to a few and see what takes my fancy. Yeah I used to listen to all sorts of d'n'b and sort of stopped on liquid, hence why I thought I should pick up where I left off.

Noticed Black Sun Empire have started to make some dubstep type songs which I'm not too keen on but some were still pretty good. Concord Dawn also seem to still rock the same production chemistry they did when they started as well as Benny Page.

I see you're from Nottingham like myself, do you know any good venues which host any good d'n'b nights? Not Detonate :p

A load of stuff from Fokuz, Celsius and Influenza has made it's way onto my digital tunes wishlist, lots of decent stuff from RoyGreen & Protone, Salaryman and Platform Breez to name a few.

Mate of mine who runs Hustle Audio is hopefully starting a new night in Nottingham, venue yet to be confirmed mind but looks like and should be a good event.

Potential names on the list varying from Mr Joseph, Paul SG, dRamatic & dbAudio, Amoss, Pennygiles and Dynamic just to name a few.

Love RoyGreen & Protone's sound at the moment. Their EP on SoundTrax is wicked and their latest collab with Pennygiles on Rubik was huuuge!

Feeling the sounds of this guy too:
