DnB thread!

OK by dark I mean in Nutone terms, not genre. To me Words and Pictures is one of the best pieces of work out of Hospital in a long time, despite its pop roots it was different and interesting enough.I really dont understand why hes done a High Contrast and decided to release an album that is so different to his previous works and also really bad.

Teddy Killerz signing to RAM was pretty inevitable. Their "60 minutes of RAM for Mistajam" mix is a heavy hitter.

Can someone post new Drum & Bass that isn't like what I've been listening to for the last 5 years or so? It's starting to all feel a bit played out and stale for me. The new Om Unit release on Metalheadz is the only thing I've liked lately.

Don't give me that, even the new Icicle album is a load of tosh, Rockwell hasn't put out anything worth a listen since 2011 and between that you either have liquid-by-numbers from Technimatic or generic neuro from Joe Ford. I was probably a bit harsh on Critical but that new Billian release was utter toss.

rockwell's always been a hipster knob. never liked his stuff.

icicle album has a few decent tunes on from the 1 time i've listened to it, will give it more time obviously before i pass judgement.

joe ford makes ****ing great music, but opinions gonna opinion.

haven't heard billians new stuff.

oh and that technimatic album is bloody good. like really, really good.

maybe you should go listen to something totally different for a while then come back to dnb and see if your opinion has changed?

i for one think the genre is peaking again, so much good music about at the moment that i can't stop playing! but then i'm totally in love with neurofunk/techy stuff. for me, liquid has kinda fallen on its arse again which is why i'm not bothering with it at all.

I've been listening to more Metal and other Electronic music for a change of scene, apart from the odd release there's little that holds much interest for me and it all sounds samey. Maybe I'm just bored of Drum & Bass?
