Hi Guys,

I have got a pi running at home with OpenVPN and MiniDNLA on it, so I can reminisce to the photos from days gone by. I use BubbleUPNP to connect to MiniDNLA and this works fine from home.

When I am out and about and I connect to the network via the VPN connection, Bubble doesn't auto discover the server, which means I cant see my content.

Is there an option in Bubble to add my media server manually, or are there other app alternatives that do a better job?

Note: I know the VPN connection works fine as if I go to my history (in the bubbleupnp) and launch a previously watch video, it hooks up and opens the media fine.

Cheers

Sorry, for some reason I appear to have crossed my wires earlier today. I did a quick Google and the reason suggested for this experience is because vpn's tend not to forward the multicast packets from the server. You're likely going to need the manual ip method if a client has one, couldn't find one so far.
