They both are great, use Open DNS if you would like to use an online website to control what people can access or assist in filtering out any nasty sites.

Not in my case. Last time I ran a benchmark Google was something like 10th place and OpenDNS was 14th or something. The fastest were Virgin's own DNS servers. A couple of Level3 servers took 3rd and 4th places.The best ones.
