As above consoles yes I'd like to keep a hard copy at least you can take it round to your mates to play whereas a pc is more solitary, you gaming on your own, therefore less clutter and higher hdd space means digital copies are the future
Do games even had split screen anymore? What games are you bringing round to your mates to play?
Call of duty games allow online split screen
Yuck.
Although I wish developers would add in the option to change the split. It would be miles better if the line was vertical.I splitscreen on a projector
I prefer digital copies for games but the only problem for me is the lack of space on the hdd to fit all the games I have. I've had psn plus for a month and my ps3 is almost full with games they had on offer.
That sounds disgusting.
That sounds disgusting.
only thing that worries me about a service liek steam ( i do use it ) , is what happens if they go bust ? will steam still work ?
This is my main worry when buying digital copies too. My Xbox live stuff for instance.
I'm torn between having to buy even more discs and my lack of fast internet available here which makes it hard to get a game before I could get it delivered/go into a store :O
This is true too. Even if the company doesn't necessarily go bust, what's to say they don't stop allowing you to re-download the game in say 30 years time? Probably one of the benefits to having everything physical I suppose.
