Do House Spiders bite?

Ok, I might be a wimp or a wuss (or just scare of the spiders ie arachnophobe).

I did measure it again and here is the pic. Remember I wasn't talking about 'the bath plug' but the whole aluminum thing on the bottom of the bath. It is 2.7 inches wide, so the spider was about 3 inches.

All spiders can bite, but british house spider types cant break skin as the fangs are too small and they dont have enough power behind them.

In other words they are harmless, unless you're a fly, in which case you should be afraid... very afraid :D
 
Somebody has to post this, so it might be me as well.

That big tarantulla does not scare me half as much as that **** in my bathroom.

And this is the worst nightmare I can imagine

Was mine also but I've had to "Deal with it " :(

On my last night in Thailand after TORRENTIAL rain I came back to my flat and stepped into the shower and had one of those on the tiles in-front of me.

After I made some alpha war cries and ran out of the bathroom to obtain weapons an hour long predator vs predator battle ensued.

I can only assume this thing decided not to get pummelled by water outside and made it's way into my place.

I won in the end with a mortar shell in the form of a half filled 1.5 Litre Coke Zero bottle. :D
