Guys I have an I7 rig running at 3.8Ghz with 1 5870 i game at 1920x1080.

It runs bad company 2 pretty well, almost 60fps all the time apart from when things get hectic.

Ive pre ordered BF3 (hasn't everyone!) and not sure if my current setup will struggle.

Would adding another 5870 cause me any problems, i have read micro stuttering is one issue. I am very very fussy when it comes to frame rate and will notice any stuttering so I'm a bit worried about this.

The other option is to sell my 5870 and get another 1 gpu card.

Any advice on whether two 5870s is a good idea or not, or will my system be ok to run BF3 at max settings?

Thanks

Hold on to your current card, and see how it performs in the bf3 beta. Out sometime this month.

I have two 5870's and cant say i notice any microstutter at all..As for a 2nd 5870 you can pick them up used for a very good price which would make going crossfire a very tempting option
