Recently built my own pc (spec in sig) and for the first few days it was running great, but when i turned my computer on yesterday morning, it tried to start up then stopped, then start up again etc etc and the cycle continued until i un-plugged it.

Checked all connections and all seems fine, evenutally it does boots up and it runs fine, but once i try to turn on again, the cycle starts again

only thing in my limited knowledge tells me is that this could be a PSU problem, could it be anything else

here the video

What is the make / model of your PSU?

Another option is try one memory module at a time, sometimes these have coursed me issues in the past.

cool well typically i just switched my pc off and turned it back on to record what i mean, and it turned on fine, i suspect though as its been on for most of the day, i didnt give it enough time to settle down, will try again after dinner

tried both and still no luck, been searching around a bit and the only thing i can think of is that my BIOS is out of date, and doesnt like the ivybridge CPU? is that a possibility?
