There is a family living on the other side of the road about 4 doors down.

Their daughter (who lives with them) drives a Mini, but honestly only drives about once a month, if that. She parks her Mini right outside our house and it is there endlessly. It makes us have to swing on to our drive at an angle as we have a big car.

Meanwhile, they can pull on and off their drive with ease. I know they are not breaking any laws as it is a public road, but it just seems a bit thoughtless as selfish to park it in front of someone else's house to ease their driveway access.

Frustrating as hell when people park inconsiderately! She probably doesn't realise she is causing you an issue, unless she is blocking a dropped kerb there is'nt much you can do but a quiet word will probably work wonders :)

Park your (larger) car in front of their house until they complain, then say it's because you can't get on your drive due to the mini, and you can't park on the road outside your own house because the mini is there.

Sounds a little thoughtless, if you went over and politly commented about it hopefully they would move it outside their property.

Childish option is to park your car outside their property and leave your driveway clear.

Ocuk option is to squeeze one out on top of her car.

Old or new mini?

If it's an old one, just get you and a couple of mates to lift it up in the middle of the night and plonk it in front of their drive...

Ask them to park a little more courteously, they probably just haven't realised.

This is the option id go for, i have a neighbour who parks his van in front of my house and its a pain reversing out especially as my road that i live on is pretty busy, his van blocks my view so i had a quiet word with him about it and now he doesnt park in front of my house.

What annoys me is that they have a big parking space in front of their house but he refuses to park there :/

first i would simply ask them.. if not i would do that
