Do i have the correct power connector?

On my old system my AGP nvidia 6600GT not only plugs into the mobo but it also has an external power source from the psu three round things in a white push in connector if memery serves. Will the ATI 4850 have the same external connection. If not do i have to change the psu or is there a changeable connector

the 4850 uses a 2 row 6 pin connector of the same type used to connect to the mother board. If you dont have one you might be able to get an adapter if not its a new PSU for you.

Molex connector changed to PCI-E power connector like below...

Does your PSU have that? If not an adaptor (like one right-hand side above) should be included with new GFX & will require 2-molex type.

Hope also PSU has enough juice, i.e. 450W & or 28A on +12V Rail (can be combined figure)?
