I've been threatening my XPS15 with the prospect of being replaced with an M2 MacBook Air. I will one day, but the XPS still just about works well enough to stop me. Kinda wish it'd die!
Do I need a MBP? Probably not.

Over a month in and everything is going swimmingly. The extra size of the screen is massive compared to my old MBP. With my HP USB dock it still allows to split the screens so I can have the external monitor and the TV working fine. The only thing I've really noticed is that I expected it to be lighter but that's not an issue at all.
