Do I need a new GPU?

Upgrading monitor next week to a 24inch 1920X1080.

Looking to play the new sim city and the new R:TW when released, along with other older games like Sleeping Dogs, Skyrim and FSX. Will my current card be able to keep pace or is it getting a bit long in the tooth? I don't want to compromise on settings. Wheres the fun in getting a new game and choosing medium in the graphics settings.

I would see how it copes first, and give it an overclock if need be.

Well, I'd still recommend seeing how it fares, since everyone has different ideas on what's adequate.

If you find it doesn't cut the onions, then I'd look at the AMD 7950 / Nvidia 670.

I'd go with a 7950.
