Hi,

Do I need a new router?

Am getting virgin media cable installed today. 10mb package.

Currently have a WAG354G, which is a adsl modem, wireless router all in one job. Any idea if it can be configured to work with the cable modem from virgin? If not, can someone suggest a suitable wireless router for me.

I need:

2 computers connected via ethernet
wireless networking

and if possible, something that will work with sipgate / voip.

Do I need a new router?

Yes. Cable wireless job. Ask the technician how to hook it up when you get one.

Ive just bought a Netgear WNR854T, works great with my NTL cable and the Gigabit speed is lovely for moving stuff around on my wired network and 300mbps over Wifi is pretty damn nippy as well Id highly recommend it...
