ive got a 10000 spin wd rapter it churns abit but its nice and quick, would a solid state hard drive be a massive loading improvement for gaming
 
I'd say the most important things for games are firstly graphics card, secondly CPU, third RAM (amount and speed) and then fourth your storage device.

But when you've had a SSD there is no going back. Mine goes from powered off to BF3 (actually playing the game) in well under two minutes. There isn't a HDD that can do that. But they are amazing for storage.

I had a 120GB but wasn't enough so put 2 M4's into RAID 0.
