I currently have 150mb fibre broadband with sky. There is sky stream connected to the router, 1 tv in the bedroom, 2 iPhones, 2 iPads and 2 gaming pc all wireless.

I would say at peak time there will be sky streaming on the tv, 2 gaming pc playing online, 2 iPads streaming. Do I need more as I notice sometimes my ping is high and not sure if it’s because everyone using the internet or because it’s wireless.

Oh the router is in the living room nexts to the tv. Gaming pc’s are both in the kitchen. My pc is set to 5GHz.

Are you monitoring your usage to see what your peak demand is at? Anything that anybody says here will be a guess.

If we distil your actual question (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XY_problem) to "my ping is high when my connection is being used", then the most efficient way to spend money is to replace your router with something that offers good QoS options - I have had to assume you are using the Sky-supplied device here as you've not said otherwise.

Really getting frustrated with no-effort posting. Anyway, OP you have all the information from me that you need to investigate your issue and best of luck solving it.
