Hi all just after a bit of advice, I have built a new system ryzen 2600, msi b450 , 16gb hyperx 3200 , 600w be quiet, and an rx5700 and since the build I have had a chessboard pattern randomly appearing on my screen in various places I understand this to be artifacts from the gfx card .i understand the driversare not rock solid yet but up until a hour ago and the new patch GTA wouldn't even run. The new driver now enables GTA to run but I am getting the chess effect still on windows and websites.

Only had it a day not bought from ocuk silly me could this be hardware related or both software and hardware i was looking at sending it back for a ocuk 2060 super as not spending over 1k for it not to play games on my new 1440p 144hz (freesync so may go rx 5700xt and see if it was the card cheers in advance.

Get it returned , From past experience seems like the memory is bad on the card, Don't let it put you off amd cards you are just unlucky.

Edit , although you cant say where you purchased the card , was it on the bay or another pc parts retailer and what brand is the card

From personal experience, if you ever encounter an issue like this (and it's still within it's return period), just send it back. It'll nag you constantly otherwise. Unless I'm mistaken there aren't any partner cards out yet, so it's it a blower style card?

yes bought from a competitor only bought the rest from them as was just easier to get the job lot in 1 delivery, the new card will be from ocuk :-) and yes its the MSI blower card
