Do I need to un-install my drivers?

Hey guys,

I am awaiting delivery of my new Asus GTX 660 this morning and I wondering If I need to un-install my current drivers? I have my trusty (and still fabulous) 8800GT installed with the latest NV drivers downloaded online.

What says the experts?

I always uninstall, driver sweep and then restart and install new drivers, whether it's to update my current GPU or not.

Ok cool - when I reboot afterwards will Windows automatically try and install its own before I get the chance to?

if on windows 7 it will try and find drivers on its own, but i usually just fire up the install process of the new drivers as soon as i started back up assuming the card has been swapped out already during that power down

Last time I mentioned it on here, doing a driver sweep wasn't recommended any more. A straight install from the driver installation pack was all that was needed (or choose clean install if you're putting a new card in.
