Generally speaking this machine has handled most things I've thrown at it - however I have noticed that it is struggling in some parts of GTA5 - the FPS isn't very stable/smooth and I prefer when I'm in deathmatch not to have sporadic FPS spikes that throws my aim off.
Not only that my motherboard seems to be slowly dying, with the onboard sound and onboard network card not working. So I'm quite reluctant to try and overclock anything as it already seems like its on the way out!
My current spec is:
2500K CPU @ 3.4GHz
Asrock Z68 Extreme 4 Gen3
Corsair 16GB RAM PC3-10700H
GTX 680 4GB Version
Crucial M4 128gb SSD
1TB HDD
I found on the B-Grade section the other day a Samsung SSD Pro 850 512GB @ 149.99 which I thought would be a decent upgrade for my old SSD - not that it will probably make much of an improvement FPS wise but I've been wanting to get a new SSD for a while and it seemed like a bargain!
I have been quite curious about getting a 5820k/DDR4/X99 build but not sure if it's worth the investment at this time. But reading across some similar threads the general consensus seems to be not to bother with it.
The other thing is I don't really want to spend money on a new motherboard that could be replaced by a new socket in a few months..
