I've noticed that all Intel chips run hotter than "equivalent" AMD chips. I don't know why though... Even people that have lapped theirs and have a humungous cooler seem to run hotter.
My AMD 720 X3 BE runs at <40°C constantly, cooled by a freezer pro 64, while my brothers Core2Quad cooled by a monster Coolermaster V8 runs at closer to 60. All benchmarks i've seen have shown some temps that I would call scary as well.
The thing is, Intel chips don't mind the heat as much as AMD ones. Not sure of any thresholds, but as far as I know, Intel chips just run hotter.
Thanks
Anybody know if Dualcores are planned for us that like cool quiet setups ?
I'm sure I saw a roadmap for Intel i3s which I was guessing might be Dual Core.

However proof that it will be Dual-Core is not something that I have, sorry.
Sorry for the Double post aswell...
