Do Ipod Touch 32 GIG come with USB adapters/chargers?

Currently shopping for an Ipod 32 Gig touch, and the place i'm shopping from says in the specs:

Storage Capacity 32GB
Type of USB Direct
USB Adapter Yes
View Photos Videos yes

But when i select the model, I get:

And listed, is a Apple iPod USB Power Adapter priced at Nearly £19.00.

Or do the specs on the ipod mean just a USB "stick", that PLUGS into an adaptor? - and not "charger" :confused:

only the iphone come with the adaptor, no ipod does...afaik

No it does, well mine did... got it in feb last year 32GB ver... mine came with the iTouch.

I think that all iPod usb cables are used to charge the iPod... but i assure you that i bought mine, with an USB cable with it :cool:

It will come with the cable to plug your ipod into a USB socket and charge it from that.
However, you will need the adapter which is basically a 3 pin plug for the wall with a usb socket in it....into which you can plug the cable you *do* get.

I have a 20GB iPod colour that came with a wall plug featuring a USB socket. I charge my iPod using that. Does anyone know if a Touch will charge using the same method?

In theory it should work if it has the same connector.

Apple took away the wall plug from the ipod range a few generations ago. You can tell from the box that it doesn't come with one, it just doesn't have the room to fit it in.

Yep. Only one that wouldn't charge the new Touch is the Firewire power adapter but we're talking waaaay back there.

Are you desperate for an iPod Touch now or could you wait? It's looking like Apple will update the iPhone this year which normally means the iPod Touch gets refreshed in some way, possibly a free storage bump
