Do most/all XBox exclusives make it to the PC these days?

I'm on the fence between saving for PC guts or getting a XBox pre-order in. I know the game pass works on PC and has done for a while and i'm wondewring whether most/all exclusives hit the PC these days? That might sway me towards a 3080 rig (if there's ever stock) and a new monitor.

It certainly seems that there's been a big shift in the last couple of years to bring their exclusives to PC, even launching at the same time. The new Halo being one that you would normally expect to be a system selling exclusive is coming to PC at launch. The game pass has been steadily improving too, even though the price has just gone up for PC it's still a pretty good deal.

Sony has also dipped their toes in and let a couple of their titles come to us recently with Death Stranding and Horizon Zero Dawn, it's not beyond the realm of imagination that we may see more titles in the future, most likely a good while after their release on console.

I would be tempted to hang back, see how things turn out over the next couple of months if you can. There's nothing really in the pipeline on the Xbox that isn't going to be on PC, I don't think you would miss much this generation if you went the PC route.

Cheers man. That sounds sensible. There's nothing at launch i'm that fussed about either, so no rush.

Does indeed seem to be the case.

Xbox pretty much shifting there model. Gamepass seems to be there focus and hook to get you in for a consistent subscription service and gives them a steady revenue. Consoles are there to get you access if you lack a PC it seems.

Personally I am hooked :p Greta price for access to plenty of games and looks set to get better.

back in 2016 M$ announced that "Every new title published from Microsoft Studios will support Xbox Play Anywhere." - so on the face of it, all M$ "exclusives" will also be available on PC. But "exclusives" from other publishers might not come to PC.

Saying that, soon after that announcement they changed the wording a little, to give themselves a get out of jail for future changes to this decision. https://www.engadget.com/2016-07-08-microsoft-xbox-play-anywhere-edit.html

This is what I am thinking. What's the point of getting an Xbox X or S if all the games are coming to game pass to use on my PC?

Or is there something I am forgetting?
