Do not be this guy!

Stewing hard water in your loops for years sounds ghastly.

If you're going to slack off on maintenance you should cram it with ethylene glycol as AIO manufacturers do, trading heat capacity for peace of mind.

100 °C at idle

Haha. Hahahaha. 100C idle. Lol. Glad he 'took us along for the ride'.

Edit: 'secret sauce', it gets even better.

Edit 2: to be fair, that radiator is probably only good for the bin given the leak and the state of the rest of the system.

That is abysmal. All because he can't be bothered to do some maintenance and use proper coolant. He should be ashamed to post that up. The best place for that cpu block is the bin and probably the rads too as there is no way he is going to get it all out of them. The dust on the rads is just plain laziness. If he can't be bothered to clean them out every now and then buy some dust filters!! I have left a loop intact for around 2.5 years before and when I finally drained it down I had no build up of anything in it. That was using de-ionised water and Primochill Liquid Utopia. Cillit Bang Lime and Shine is excellent for cleaning blocks by the way. :D

Thanks for posting that, that made me actually laugh out loud and get some very strange looks at work.

Plus the pic from Tropic thunder also was rather grin worthy :)

Forget the disgraceful state of his wc loop, what about the state of the room in general? How dirty was the desk and the carpet and everything? Cat- just f off and get outside
Should be ashamed of this and sort the whole room out let alone post a video of his loop.

Shocking just shocking- don't even want to imagine what his bathroom looks like

How to ruin hundreds of £'s worth of kit through a mixture of laziness and stupidity.

The worst thing about that video is I know so many people who would end up in exactly the same mess if they had a watercooled PC, some of the desktops & laptops I get given to fix are embarrassingly filthy

This was a laptop I was tasked with fixing last year, and yes, that is candle wax it's covered in...

I like how the keys are nice and melted on the top left :)
