Earlier today I had the misfortune to accidentally splash a single small drop of fairy liquid into my eye.

It ****ing hurts!

(That thing with the Baby is a cruel deception!)

It was 7 hours ago and I am still uncomfortable. But for the first hour or so it was sheer bloody agony! (Well comparable to the aftermath of the cataract surgery I had earlier in the year!)

Just don't do it!

I will be wearing goggles to do the washing up from now on! :/ (Seriously! )

Taking out a contact lens after chopping scotch bonnet.... which led to a scratch on my eye... which led to a nasty eye infection... which led to my eyeball being scarred.

My worst 'defo don't want that stuff in yer eye' experience was either formaldehyde fumes or acetone. Both are very painful.

Not tried washing liquid though.

Worst thing I've seen in some ones eye was a pair of long nose pliers. Good luck with your soap though.

I've had finish plaster in my eye while plastering a ceiling. That's not nice, several litres of saline solution through it with a retinal suction cup is a wake up call. Wear goggles now.

Ow. Agreed . I notice they just freely show this on tv these days too on these do-up-cars shows.

Not quite the same effect but you get a mild version of that flash.
