Earlier today I had the misfortune to accidentally splash a single small drop of fairy liquid into my eye.

It ****ing hurts!

(That thing with the Baby is a cruel deception!)

It was 7 hours ago and I am still uncomfortable. But for the first hour or so it was sheer bloody agony! (Well comparable to the aftermath of the cataract surgery I had earlier in the year!)

Just don't do it! :(

I will be wearing goggles to do the washing up from now on! :/ (Seriously!)

(Either that or just keeping my eyes closed when I am doing the Biz with the detergent)

Taking out a contact lens after chopping scotch bonnet.... which led to a scratch on my eye... which led to a nasty eye infection... which led to my eyeball being scarred.

Don't **** with your eyes

My worst 'defo don't want that stuff in yer eye' experience was either formaldehyde fumes or acetone. Both are very painful.

Not tried washing liquid though.

*goes to kitchen*

Next time, wash the dirty microscopic dishes in the kitchen sink, like everyone else.;)

A horse full of sneezed in my eye when I was a kid when I was petting it. I'm allergic to horses.....Go figure.

lightweights try getting a small metal shard in yer eye, now that hurts!:D:D
and then removed with the biggest needle a have ever seen..............true story!

Had pepper blown into my eyes once in an old job.

Couldn't see for an hour or so. That was fun.

Tell you what else is a corker for eye pain. ;)

A nice piece of ceramic tile in the eye, it bloody hurts a lot.. :D

Chemicals are nothing! :p

I've had finish plaster in my eye while plastering a ceiling. That's not nice, several litres of saline solution through it with a retinal suction cup is a wake up call. Wear goggles now.

The pain of the flash from an electric welder. Can have temporary blindness and feels like sand in your eyes for days. Retinal burn.

Ow. Agreed :(. I notice they just freely show this on tv these days too on these do-up-cars shows.

Not quite the same effect but you get a mild version of that flash.
