The other night I turned on all the TV stuff and thought lets see if I can watch catch up on Now TV box (I missed Britains greatest bridges) - grabbed remote and nothing worked - checked ethernet - checked all connections - checked everything - in end had a paddy and turned it all off -

Tonight thought try again - picked up remote - looked at it and thought you stupid old silly boy - wrong remote - picked up one for Roberts internet radio - .:confused::confused::confused::o:o:o:o:o

Thing is I thought it was the right one :rolleyes::rolleyes: never even questioned it :eek:
 
I was thinking more along the lines of my hands hurt all the time and I now, inexplicably, drop small stuff all the time too!

You have all this trivial nonsense to look forward too you know! :cool:
 
I have the most fuzzled brain these days. I remember the most complex of things like someone with photographic memory, but then I can take an hour to find my glasses, you know, the ones I'm wearing or my mobile phone that I am holding. It's an age thing :(
 
The best bit was it does say "Roberts" on the remote and never saw it.

I blame the wife as the Now remote was on floor under coffee table and I know I didn't put it there.

Wife had a dental appointment today at 4.40pm so we went early - had walk around - I then went for a coffee while she buzzed off to dentist - when I got there she was waiting outside - seems she wrote down 11.40 wrong .

Been a funny day today and do wish we could press the rewind button :D
 
I try not to grow old but the seams to be constant forward motion and for the life of me I cannot find the brake? :confused:

I don't feel old but I know I am, when I make a noise getting up from any position.

Yes that's another one. Ive found my iPhone in a bathroom cabinet and tried to put shaving foam on my toothbrush, well actually I did and went for a clean and only when I was foaming like a rabid dog.......did I remember my iPhone in the bathroom cabinet next to the TV remote and mouse.
 
I don't know anyone whose done this (honest), but has anyone ever lost their mug of steaming hot coffee only to find it sometime later sat there in the fridge?
 
It amuses me that Roberts make a thing that connects to the Internet but is also more or less upholstered and made out of driftwood.
