Hi all,
I have found an online retailer selling chandaliers that normally go for hundreds if not thousands... my brother just placed an order for 6 because it's listed as 0.00gbp and delivery was 8.00 gbp, he gave his credit card details and has everything confirmed including confirmation emails...

does this website now have to honour his order?

and if you would like to purchase some fahaaaaaabulous chandaliers, please see this:

love these comments - yes I said to him they would probably cancel it :)

and yes if he had put one through, maybe he'd have been lucky... he said his company made a similar mistake in the past and they had to honour it, but I guess we'll see ha

Don't be a daft, I laughed at his optimism, what will be will be, but going captain planet on something that will likely be resolved by cancel is just being stupid for the sake of being stupid. Get off the high horse, the fox will catch himself.

These threads are always a bit of a laugh - just Google the very same question and it will be answered for you.
As for "ordered 6" this is one of the most annoying things I read over and over again on similar threads, especially over at HUKD.
Lets say I'm a retailer and I manage to mess pricing up. Lets say 50 orders get through at a silly reduced price. I might think for the sake of some great publicity, free advertising etc, I'll let them go through.
Then we get the "Yer, I ordered 10" and the "ordered half a dozen for Ebay" posts. Now as a retailer I'm not going to spend the time going through the orders or even thinking about honouring them, I'm just cancelling the lot. There was the recent 3D headset for Galaxy S7/8 at Vodafone. A number of orders went through and they have been honoured. All single purchases as far as anyone knows. If however it had been abused to hell, as they usually are, then nobody would have got anything.

This particular thread is slightly different of course. Item sells for several hundred listed at zero - well order what you like, 1, 10, 1000 - highly unlikely that one is going through. But I do wish people would stop thinking entirely about themselves when it comes to pricing mistakes, just make that single purchase. If you're lucky you, and loads of other people get a bargain. Keep on abusing and truly, you're just ******* it up for everyone.

This tbh.
I don't condone his actions, I just find it funny that all of a sudden he needs chandaliers... 6 of them.
