Hi,

I cancelled my sky subscription over 2 months ago and I still have the sky box. Should sky take it back or do I now just keep it?

Thanks.

Awesome. Well I did have HD till I cancelled it so it is a HD box. Will look on fleabay and see if its worth selling.

I don't suppose you can get it to work with a Virgin box can you?

Thanks guys.

I don't know... try throwing it up in the air and seeing if it returns.

*Worst joke ever just been*

Do what I did when I cancelled Sky - get a Sky FreeSat card for £20 - FreeSat but with extra channels and no other costs

Related question -

Is the IQ on the new boxes with HDMI better than the scart boxes? The Sky+ box my parents use has terrible IQ. Will Sky replace it for no other reason? Anyone tried to get them to give a new box out?

Should be able to as it's technically still a Sky+ box, just without Sky so it should have all the features enabeled. I've seen people take them apart and put bigger HDD's in too.

Probably a stupid question, but would you still be able to use it to record programmes onto the boxes harddrive if you were using it this way?
I didn't think you could, last tiime I looked was some years ago though.
I've just cancelled my multiroom package along with a few other bits, if I could still record on the hd box then I'd consider dropping my subscription entirely.
