I've always had restless leg syndrome but the last
couple of years (i'm 40 this year) i've noticed as soon as i get in
bed my legs start aching.

So i started taking 2 nurofen before bed and it helps a bit
but i was wondering if anyone else has this and is it part of
getting older?

The OcUK doctors whisper to me that it is a bona-fide psychosomatic disorder, or SuperAids. I cannot tell which.

This is the worst poem I've ever read, it doesn't even rhyme

You'll find there is something wrong, you're brain is ignoring the pain during the day as you need to keep moving. Once relaxed you're being 'notified' that something is wrong.

It's merely a survival technique the body uses.

Do you get it when you go away (eg when you sleep in a different bed)? Might be time for a new mattress...or to consult a medical professional.
