Do you always run your GPU/'s overclocked?

I've always overclocked my graphics cards even in SLI until I got the 780, which I'm leaving stock for now, it's sooo smooth that I just dont need to.......yet :)

With my old gtx 460 I used to only put overclocks on for gaming.

Now with my 7850, the overclock is at stock volts, so I keep it at that 24/7.

I use afterburner with 2 profiles. One profile for normal use and the other profile is my overclock profile for gaming use. Clicking a button and hitting "apply" isn't hard and takes 4-5 seconds.

Some interesting feedback. Shame the mods didn't allow a poll but never mind. It seems none of us are following a pattern and instead, doing what we feel we need to do. Some OC all the time, some only benching or early testing of the card.

Thanks for sharing how you do it :)

Overclock and then use a frame rate limiter. Card won't be running 100% most of the time so doesn't run hot, but less frame rate dips.

With GPU Boost adjusting voltage across the whole range (GTX 780), it actually undervolts the card when full power is not needed and stock clocks are in being used in place of boosted clock speed.

Always overclocked, from 975 / 1500 to 1150 / 1600, in benching its usually 1200 / 1600, I have run it as high as 1215 / 1600.

I've always had my 470s overclocked as the cards really come alive when given a nice clock. Being underwater helps temps/accoustics a lot for these Fermi radiators!

CPU at 4gig since the day I bought it (second hand)

GPU only a slight overclock, again on start up, afterburner loads and good to go with fan profiles added. I particular like the fan profile options as when gaming with headphones on, a louder fan isn't a problem when keeping things cool.
