Do you believe in ghosts?

People always go on about seeing ghosts of people from the wars, maids from the 1800's etc but where are the ghosts of the caveman? The ghosts of john the druggy who overdosed in the local public toilets?
If a relative of mine passed away I'd hope they'd try a bit harder to contact me then turning a kettle on, flickering lights and walking around upstairs whilst I'm downstairs!
If they can do all that then they can get a pen and paper and write their thoughts down!
