Do you check your pay

To true, ball park figures now, as they've change the pay slips and its insanely hard to calculate.
They are good at missing stuff off.
But then we have night allowance, overtime, higher duty pay etc. so it's never the same.

I've been looking forward to my final pay packet for months as it includes end of contract bonuses that together are worth more than a month salary.

My employer missed off one bonus completely (€535) and only paid me half of another (got €98, should have been €196). After I explained to my boss how their system works she agreed to get it sorted out.

When I said "what would have happened if I hadn't said anything" I just got a stony faced look. Totally unacceptable.

Since the move to online pay slips, i only check them as a batch once every three or so months.

It's a lazy attitude on my part, as any important MONEY errors (expenses etc) won't be immediately picked up.

I check mine but that is due to being on commission. I check the monthly commission sheet matches my daily updated sheet of sales done as things can be missing quite regularly albeit they are resolved quickly.

I then check the commission element of my payslip to make sure it matches.

Snap Richie...

Although, I earn points which then converts to £ on a rising scale, more points equals a greater amount of £ per point.

So, I then have to calculate that my points are correct and are being applied, then make sure my £ is correct for commission, and also my overtime, expenses and anything else I can claim that month is in and correct!

Mine is the same every month, unless I've done any overtime (which I generally don't) or taken holidays in which case it's only a few quid difference (as holiday pay is slightly different to basic) so I generally don't generally check in detail.

My pay is the same every month. Don't do overtime. Unless it's Bank holiday. So i pretty much know how much i get paid every month. Just check online on payday.
