Do you cook potato waffles in your toaster?

I never even had a toaster until the wife bought one... same for a microwave. I still don't use either, and just do toast under the grill. Waffles, when I have to, get done in the oven so they're nice and crispy.

In the distant past I used to cook potato waffles in a toaster. Fish fingers too (not really advisable). :)

I spotted on the box a couple of months ago, it said about toasting them, not tried it yet, did not feel convinced they would be as good

I did this years ago and still do before they added it as an approved cooking method . I also dreamt of lemon polos before they ever came out but that's a different story.

I've always done these in the toaster, goes back to when I couldn't be bothered to wait for anything to cook (I remember doing sausages in the microwave as well).

I haven't had them for a while now so next time I go shopping I might have to get some.

Never put them in the toaster myself but will pick up a box next time I'm shopping to give it a go :)

They're designed to be cooked under a grill as well as oven cooked, so a toaster if big enough should be fine for potato waffles.

Want to live dangerously? See if you can toast some hash browns.
