Do you ever get that feeling that you want to play a game but not sure what?

yea everytime im bored...

i get that feeling where you feel like playing a specific game but you cant be bothered to aswell...

yup samething right now, one of the reasons I like games with a lot of replayability but I'm bored of diablo 3 right now

The trouble is with doing that is I start several different games and I never finish them. Then I forbid myself from doing that again and end up playing nothing.

It's the worst thing for me, starting one game, getting bored then starting another, and repeat. I just end up with a long list of games that need completing, and because I am OCD about things like that, it drives me nuts. I always make myself at some point go back and complete it, before I'll let myself buy or start a new game. Example, I won't let myself play Max Payne 3 until I have completed 1 & 2.

It's hell in my head at times.:(

I get this. ArmA2 is my staple GO TO game there is a lot of stuff you can do with it. But sometimes the map being played is not one i fancy, or iv been playing it all week and need a break.

I end up just staring at steam... opening and closing my Games folder... searching this forum for new ideas...

My big problem is the games i want to play are all just not quite out. ArmA3, GW2, MOH.

I get this all the time, ONLY games that i've ever focused on and played practically non0stop are: Cysis, Oblivion: Elder Scrolls, Metro 2033 and Bioshock 1 & 2, In my opinion their the only good classic games worth playing and would play all of them again if i was that bored.... And i've never once played a game through twice other than Final Fantasy 7....

Yes. I have it every day.

I spent 6 years filling my time with WoW but now, there's nothing.

Magic: The Gathering caught my attention for a couple of days after being on sale on steam but now im back in that boat.

I always solve this with TF2 jump maps.

osu! was a good game for this feeling too. But then I realised that game takes entirely too much skill and I don't want to put the effort into becoming good enough.

i been having that feeling also but was thinking what to play, but i recently got Mount and blade pack with nepoleonic wars, for £7.99
so have been enjoying that lately, reminds me of counter strike, as you ony get one life and theres 100 vs 100 servers...theres are a lot of funny moments in the game!!!

Wait, Counter-Strike had 100 vs 100 servers? :P

Is it worth it then?

I occasionally feel like this as well. Though sometimes I've discovered that it's the desire for a new game. Nothing you currently own can satisfy the itch, so maybe you should look at something you don't own that looks (or sounds) interesting.

noo counter strike didnt have 100 vs 100, I was refering to the if you die your out for the rest of the round, you get many,
different classes even a drummer to boost morale, but it has many game modes and its a fun game, but takes a bit of time to get used to as you have to use a sword, or gun bayonet for close in battles, you can also block!!

I used to be in the same situation quite a lot. Sat there looking at my Steam Library trying to find something other than Counter Strike to play for a change, I'd give up after 10 minutes and then just go back on CS.

I don't get much time to go on games any more, but I still end up playing CS. I had a GTA IV stage at one point when I discovered one of the patches made it run awesomely for me, but I soon went back to CS. Might as well not have any other games installed, it'd free up a nice bit of HDD space.

Im in this space at the moment.

Diablo 3 Im sick of already.
SWTOR wasnt the game I hoped it would be.
Civ V & Sins games are really fun, but all seem to fall into the same pattern mid-endgame after a while, which gets repetitive.

SC2 is actually stressful rather than relaxing, and Im simply not very good at it. :p.

Im waiting for BG2: Enhanced Edition, but there is very little information on that at the moment.

Actually considering resubbing to WoW, which is something I never thought I would do!
