Do you ever see life as your own personal RPG

at first I was level 0 then I read some guitar books and through experience I am now level 8. 10 being max cap lol

I take it you play the Sims! You can get your characters in there to read music books and play guitar to up their skill, with the same 0-10 scale that you wrote.

I did this sort of thing while I was in my teens, heavily influenced by the Fighting Fantasy books by Ian Livingstone and Steve Jackson, so you had skill, stamina and luck, all pen and paper based. Just for a bit of fun while I was at in school.

depends on the scale.

if it's logarithmic like the Richter scale instead of liner it would make sense.

ie on Richter scale each 0.2 increase is actually a doubling so a 9 is 1000 times stronger than a 7.

its not linear

1 is like a begginer

3-4 play a few chords and tunes

5 play chords and maybe a little bit lead

7 you can play Led Zep etc...but not creative

at level 7 you can play most tabs even advanced tabs and create your own riffs, solos etc..

at level 9-10 you are almost god like...

10 is Van Halen

Noel Gallagher is prob a 7-8

I do sometimes imagine adding skills or experiences to an imaginary life summary, but not really in an RPG way...

But thinking about it, it would probably help if I did. (Apart from the inevitable 'get bored and assault all the police' stage, obviously).
